Welcome to episode # 90 of Fraternity Foodie! Today we are talking about dating, love, and relationships in college with us a nationally recognized psychotherapist who has been practicing psychotherapy for over 35 years. Beatty Cohan has a Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from McGill University in Montreal, Canada and post-graduate specialization in marriage and family therapy and sexual dysfunction. She treats adolescents and adults of all ages and stages in life whose problems include depression, anxiety, early childhood sexual abuse, addictions of every kind including sex, drugs and alcohol, and relationship/sexual issues.
We find
out why dating violence is happening with frequency on college
campuses, how to make an accurate assessment of your partner, how
you can determine how compatible you are with a partner on things
like lifestyles, religious beliefs, interests, money concerns, and
careers, whether there is such a thing as a perfect partner, how
you can help students struggling with alcohol or drug addiction,
what you can do when you feel depression coming on, and Beatty's
favorite restaurants in New York City and East Hampton. Enjoy!
