Welcome to our town hall where we discuss mental health for men of color. Our panelists include Edson O'Neale, Scott Marsden, and Greg Vogt.
Some of the questions we seek to answer: Why are black men taught at a young age to not show their feelings? Why is it so hard for men of color to talk about mental health? What about the stigma that men do not get depressed? Are we in a time where men are more open to share their feelings? Why should men of color allow themselves to be more vulnerable? Are there particular types of work environments that are more likely to cause depression among men of color? What are common ways men try to hide their true feelings?
